Datasensing S300 Large photoelectric sensor offers a wide range of models and optical functions at longest operating distance. Various models are available with through beam optics up to 60 m, polarized retro reflective at 22 m, diffused proximity at 5 m and background suppression at 2.5 m.
All models can be ordered with 10 to 30 Vdc power supply, or free-voltage from 24 to 240 Vac/Vdc versions.
Output type can be with SPDT relay, or NPN/PNP open collector outputs. Furthermore, an output timing function is programmable.
S300-PA version has the optics on the short side, whereas S300-PR version mounts larger lenses on the long side.The terminal block connection simplifies the installation and the heavy-duty plastic housing guarantees an excellent resistance under hard condition of use.
S300 is suitable for long distance and/or harsh environment applications, from #automotive to automated material handling and outdoor mounting.
An interesting example of outdoor use is in highway toll booths to detect the height of the vehicle and issue the #tickets from the highest slot in case of trucks.
