In some machines the safety light curtains must have some beams interrupted by parts of the machine itself or, like in the #bending machines, by the material that is being worked.

For these kind of situations, SH4 Advanced can be easily programmed through wi-fi, in order to define exactly which beams will be interrupted, in case the obstacle will remain in fixed position, or the number of beams that will be interrupted and in which zones, in case the obstacle will have a floating movement.
This use of blanking in SH4 is extremely flexible: SH4 allows the presence of up to 5 different blanking zones, and it is also possible to use the auto-teaching function to define the blanking zone position directly by the presence of the obstacle.
